OUR START

The Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition (MADC) was initiated by the executive order of Mayor Tammy de Weerd in January 2004. The coalition has followed the Mayor’s lead and works relentlessly to strengthen our community through substance abuse prevention. Unwavering community support has enabled the coalition to flourish, expand and build strong partnerships with like-minded organizations and individuals over the years.

JOIN US

If you or someone you know has been impacted by substance abuse, joining the coalition is an opportunity to take a negative experience and use it as the driving force for positive change. Everyone is welcome and there are no fees or dues to join. Our website features valuable resources and we bring the most up-to-date prevention news to you via our Facebook and Twitter.
